About the Author
Hi — I’m Morning, the person behind Morning Glory Sciences.
For over 20 years I’ve lived at the frontline of drug discovery. I bring an investor’s perspective alongside the science: starting in basic research, moving into bringing new medicines to patients, and eventually sitting on the other side of the table, deciding which technologies are worth betting on. Oncology is my home turf, and I’ve worked across Japan, the US, and Europe.
New therapies aren’t born in the lab alone. An investor’s call on which science to back has become a driving force that pushes the next generation of medicines into the world — and over the past decade, that force has only grown stronger. So on this site I cover not just the science itself, but the business behind it: how money and decisions are shaping the future of treatment.
By their nature, scientific journals can be hard to read, and their angle is often narrow. But underneath them, the real questions — why this drug matters, what this technology could change, and what it all means in business terms — should excite far more people than they do. So every day I try to cover the cutting edge of cancer therapy, drug discovery, AI-driven drug development, and biotech investment as accurately, and as engagingly, as I can.
Editorial Policy
The editorial team at Morning Glory Sciences interprets scientific, clinical, regulatory, industry, and investment-related developments through practical knowledge in life science R&D, translational science, drug development, business development, startup support, and biotech investment evaluation.
Rather than simply reporting news, we focus on what is new, why it matters now, and what may come next. Our goal is to organize specialized topics in a structured and accessible way while preserving scientific and practical relevance.
Main Topics We Cover
Morning Glory Sciences covers topics such as oncology therapeutics, antibody drugs, ADCs, bispecific antibodies, cell therapy, gene therapy, AI-driven drug discovery, aging and regenerative medicine, biotech investment, drug discovery startups, and partnership and acquisition trends in the pharmaceutical industry.
In these fields, scientific progress and business decisions are closely connected. For this reason, Morning Glory Sciences aims to place research findings and regulatory updates within the broader context of drug discovery, clinical development, regulation, business development, and investment strategy.
Comments & questions welcome
Reactions, “I’d love to know more about X” requests, expert pushback — all of it is genuinely welcome. Your voices decide what I write next. I want this to be a place that grows together with the people who read it.
Reach me through the comments, the contact page, or on X (@MorningGlorySci). And one day, I’d love to build a space where we can go deeper together.
